Privacy Policy

                Your planning data stays with you. PlanningPowerTools processes JSON models on your
                device, only stores the metadata required to provide the service, and never sells or shares customer data
                for advertising. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.
            

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to authenticate you, deliver the subscription, and support you.

                What we do not collect: We do not ingest your planning files, solver results, employee
                lists, or other payload data. All optimization happens client-side or inside your private tenant.
            

3. How We Use Information

Provide and maintain the Planning Wizard and Excel add-in.
Authenticate users and secure access with MFA tokens.
Send transactional notices (receipts, incident alerts, feature updates).
Deliver support, respond to tickets, and reproduce issues you report.
Comply with legal requests such as tax filings or anti-abuse investigations.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We rely on minimal cookies to keep you signed in and remember UI preferences. Optional analytics cookies are disabled by default and may be enabled via the banner.

Essential

Session identifiers, CSRF tokens, and localization preferences. Required for service delivery.

Analytics (optional)

Aggregated usage metrics via privacy-preserving tooling (Plausible). No cross-site tracking.

Local Storage

Stores drafts of your JSON inputs locally so you can recover models offline.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete projects and solver runs at any time. We purge associated metadata within 30 days unless a longer period is required to resolve billing disputes or enforce legal obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), you may request:

Access to the personal data we store about you.
Correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
Deletion of your account and related records.
Restriction or objection to certain processing activities.
Data portability for information you provided.

7. Data Security

Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) for every web and API endpoint.
Encrypted-at-rest infrastructure on EU-based cloud providers.
Fine-grained access controls and regular security reviews.
MFA support and device authorization logs for your workspace.
Optional customer-managed storage for regulated data sets.

8. Third-Party Processors

We share limited data with trusted vendors under strict agreements:

Stripe – payment processing and invoicing.
Auth0 – identity and access management.
Mailgun – transactional email delivery.
Plausible – optional analytics (self-hosted in the EU).

Each provider offers contractual commitments for GDPR compliance and Standard Contractual Clauses when data leaves the EEA.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, contact us first. You also have the right to escalate to your local supervisory authority or the Luxembourg National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD).

10. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy to reflect product changes or regulatory requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date and notify you via email or in-product alerts when changes are significant.
